There have been so many influences on my photography, so the following links are just a few of the photographers that inspire me: Brent Jennings, a good friend, brilliant photographer and talented writer; his works inspire both passion and envy in me! Galen Rowel, who through his magical books and articles on photography, influenced my philosophy of photography. Simon Carter, an australian climber and photographer who's photography makes me vacilate between wanting to go out there and take pics, and wanting to just throw my camera away! Henri Cartier-Bresson is another of my philosophical influences: "The photograph itself doesn't interest me. I want only to capture a minute part of reality." Frank Hurley, an Australian photographer and adventurer who's most famous photos are those from Shackelton's Endurance expedition. |
